Cannot manage tags

i am running it in linux mint 19 and i am having trouble with tags in notes. I can put a tag in a note but i am not able to find the tags in the app. Therefore i cannot filter notes by tags. Surely is a silly question but cannot find the way through it.

I occasionally have issues.
Are you adding a comma after the tag you are adding? Also you need to save twice. Once for the new tag and then again for the note.
What version are you running?
(I had an outdated version which couldn’t delete boards )
